Uninstallation on Windows
1. Release the licence on this machine. Run QOps-Deactivate before you remove anything. Uninstalling does not release the activation — the installer has no step that touches it — so the seat stays in use until you deactivate.
2. Remove configuration and logs (optional; skip it if you plan to reinstall).
QOps-RemoveConfig -PruneAll -Force
This removes the stored profiles, the repository's .qopsconfig, the QOps environment variables and the log folder. Both switches are needed: without -Force the command only tells you what it would delete, and without a switch at all it lists the switches and does nothing. To remove less, use -Repository (this repository's settings), -Profile <name> (one profile) or -All (all profiles, keeping logs).
3. Uninstall QOps. Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Choose QOps if you installed it for all users, or QOpsModule if you installed it for yourself, and uninstall. The Portal is shut down as part of the removal.
Uninstallation on macOS
The package ships its own uninstaller inside the installed module directory:
sudo ./uninstall-qops.sh
Use it rather than deleting the directory. Removing the files by hand leaves the package receipt behind, and macOS then reports QOps as still installed — the uninstaller removes both. Run QOps-Deactivate first here too.
