Runs an internal wizard for entering the QOps parameters.
Syntax
QOps-Configure [-ResetGlobal] [-Force]
Parameters meaning:
-ResetGlobal backs up a global configuration file that cannot be read and starts a new one, then runs the usual walk-through. The global file is %USERPROFILE%\qopsconfig\.qopsconfig. When it exists but cannot be read, for example after a typing mistake made by hand or a file cut short, QOps changes nothing in it: the commands stop with an error that names the file, and in the Portal the Environment settings window shows a banner with the file's path and refuses every change. You can fix the file by hand, or use -ResetGlobal: the file is renamed to .qopsconfig.broken-<date>-<time> in the same folder and a new, empty global file is created. Your profiles stay in the backup and are no longer used: set them up again, or copy what you need from the backup. -ResetGlobal refuses a file that reads fine. QOps writes the global file to a temporary file in the same folder first and then puts it in place, so a write that is interrupted leaves the previous file whole.
-Force, together with -ResetGlobal, backs up and replaces a file that reads fine too.
-VerboseLog enables full verbose output including complete API response dumps and debug information. By default, QOps now produces concise output summaries.
For a Qlik Cloud profile the wizard asks for the auth mode: ApiKey (1, the default) or QlikCloudOrg (2). With QlikCloudOrg it asks for the OAuth client id and then the client secret; you can also paste both at once as clientId:clientSecret. A value without a colon is taken as an API key, and the profile is switched to ApiKey with a warning. After the settings are entered, QOps checks the client against the tenant and says what it found; the settings are saved even when that check cannot run. To set the same values from a script, use QOps-SetConfig -SenseAuthMode QlikCloudOrg -OrgOAuthClientId -OrgOAuthClientSecretValue.
A Qlik Cloud profile in the Portal's environment editor also chooses between ApiKey and QlikCloudOrg. The secret is write-only: the editor shows only whether one is stored.
